Attorney Samuel R. Prickett focuses his practice on business and corporate transactions, contract negotiation, permitting and corporate litigation. Sam combines his diverse background of business experience with his practice of law to provide depth and perspective and achieve the best practical outcomes for his clients.
Since joining the Firm, Attorney Prickett has made meaningful contributions to clients across a variety of industries and with a variety of legal needs. He has successfully drafted and negotiated contracts for construction and sale of large-scale commercial buildings and solar installations, employment agreements, and mergers and acquisitions. He has, on behalf of his clients, navigated and facilitated the licensing, permitting, and due diligence process for residential, commercial, and solar construction projects. On the litigation side Attorney Prickett has aided in the successful and beneficial settlement of disputes concerning construction contracting and sub-contracting, local governmental compliance, and employment issues.
Western New England’s Law Review
Attorney Prickett earned his Juris Doctorate from Western New England University School of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude. Mr. Prickett was selected to Western New England’s Law Review from 2018 to 2020, and serving as the Managing Editor of the Review from 2019-2020. While serving on the Law Review, Attorney Prickett is honored to have assisted practitioners, professors, and legal professionals locally and internationally on cutting-edge legal issues in many and varied practice areas including constitutional law, women’s rights, corporate espionage, reproductive law, and evidentiary admissibility.
After graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst Sam spent several years working in the fields of finance, purchasing, and supply chain and inventory management before choosing to pursue a career in law. Attorney Prickett is a member of both the Hampden County Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in Massachusetts.
Born and raised in the Northampton area, Attorney Prickett has a personal understanding of the needs and issues that face the residents and businesses of this community, and looks forward to his continued service of the community in and around Western Massachusetts and abroad.
